This event, orga­nized by Michel Veuthey, Ambas­sador of the Sov­er­eign Order of Mal­ta to Mon­i­tor and Com­bat Traf­fick­ing in Per­sons and Deputy Per­ma­nent Observ­er to the UN at Gene­va, with the sup­port of the Per­ma­nent Mis­sion of the Order, high­lights the need for a bet­ter pub­lic aware­ness about mod­ern slav­ery and the col­lab­o­ra­tion between Gov­ern­ments, Inter­na­tion­al Organ­i­sa­tions and Civ­il Soci­ety to com­bat human traf­fick­ing, to pro­tect and reha­bil­i­tate victims.
