FIFA AND HT — CHILD SAFEGUARDING TOOLKIT FOR MEMBER ASSOCIATIONS

Mil­lions of chil­dren around the world are involved in foot­ball. Many play, whether in organ­ised match­es or kick-abouts, some take an ear­ly inter­est in coach­ing and ref­er­ee­ing, and almost all fol­low a favourite team, learn­ing valu­able life lessons such as loy­al­ty and team work, through thick and thin.

How­ev­er they are involved in the game, what these chil­dren all have in com­mon is the right to enjoy foot­ball in a safe envi­ron­ment, in a cul­ture of respect and understanding.
